How to Set Your Own Client Seed

You can replace your auto-generated client seed with any 16+ character string in account settings. Once changed, eligible future rounds include your saved value in their provably-fair input.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Account Settings → Provably Fair.
  2. Enter your custom client seed (16-256 characters).
  3. Save. The change applies to your next round.
  4. For extra transparency hygiene, rotate your client seed periodically.

Detail

Reason to rotate: if you suspect the value was exposed, a fresh client seed keeps future verifier inputs separate from the old value.

Frequently asked questions

Does setting a custom client seed change my odds?
No. The mathematical edge is identical regardless of which client seed you use. The seed only changes which specific outcomes you get from the same server seed.
