How to Verify a Coinflip Round

You can re-derive any RustSnowball coinflip outcome from the published server seed, client seed, and nonce in about 30 seconds via the provably-fair page.

Step-by-step

  1. Open the coinflip round in your history → click "Verify".
  2. The page shows: server seed (revealed), client seed, nonce. All three are needed.
  3. Either click "Verify in browser" (instant), or paste the three values into the global verifier at /provably-fair.
  4. The verifier shows the derived outcome. If it matches the round's outcome, the round is fair.

Detail

The verifier recomputes the outcome from the revealed inputs. If a completed round does not verify, support treats it as a critical incident.
