How to Sign in with Steam

Signing in to RustSnowball uses Steam OAuth — no password, no email, no phone. Click "Sign in with Steam" → authorise on Steam's OpenID page → you're in. The whole flow takes ~5 seconds.

Step-by-step

  1. Click "Sign in with Steam" anywhere on RustSnowball.
  2. Steam shows its OpenID authorisation page. Approve the login.
  3. You're redirected back to RustSnowball, now signed in.
  4. Optional: apply a referral code — the 0.15 gem signup gift unlocks with your first deposit.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there no email signup?
Steam OAuth is sufficient — your Steam account already identifies you. Skipping email at signup eliminates a friction point AND reduces our PII exposure surface.
Can I use a different sign-in method later?
No. Steam OAuth is the only sign-in path. This is intentional: it ties your RustSnowball account to your Steam identity, simplifying both fraud prevention and skin deposit/withdrawal flows.
What if I lose access to my Steam account?
You'll need to recover Steam access first (via Steam Support). Your RustSnowball balance is preserved in the meantime — open a support ticket so we can verify identity and confirm balance state.
How do I contact RustSnowball support?
Email contact@rustsnowball.com or open a ticket via the in-account Support button. Median first response under 2 minutes during EU+US hours; Discord support is also active for non-account-specific questions.
